How a North Georgia Pest Control Company Won Back the Search Visibility It Had Lost
Services: Local content (service and location pages, blog), Google Business Profile and listing management, HubSpot lead system, website hosting and maintenance
Engagement start: February 2026
Results shown through: September 2026
The Challenge
This Canton, Georgia company does serious work, including heat treatment for bed bugs and wood-destroying organism letters for real estate deals. In 2024 its website ranked for close to 900 searches. Then it slid. By early 2025 its estimated organic traffic had fallen by more than 90%, and it hadn't recovered by the time we started.
The goal: rebuild visibility for the services and towns that bring in jobs across the north Atlanta suburbs and the mountains.
The Strategy
Service and location pages. Two new pages a month for the services and towns that matter most, Marietta, Lawrenceville, Athens, Blue Ridge and more.
A monthly blog post answering the questions people search before they call, like whether bed bug heat treatment damages electronics.
Google Business Profile and listings kept accurate everywhere the company appears.
A HubSpot lead system so every inquiry lands in one place.

Search results (Google Search Console and DataForSEO)
| Measure | Result |
|---|---|
| Keywords ranked, February vs September 2026 | 407 → 564 (+39%) |
| Keywords ranked in positions 11 to 40 | 69 → 132 |
| Estimated organic traffic per month, February vs September 2026 | 1,080 → 3,217 |
| Google clicks, February vs April 2026 | 52 → 176 |
| Google clicks, July to September, 2025 vs 2026 | 260 → 280 (+8%) |
Real clicks have grown more slowly than the estimates. The rankings are coming back first, and most of the new ones sit on pages two to four. Moving them onto page one is the work for the next six months.
What This Means for Your Business
Losing search visibility doesn't have to be permanent. A steady flow of pages built around your services and towns gives Google a reason to send people back to you.
If your traffic slid and never came back, it's worth finding out why.
