Pest Control Website Design

Websites That Work As Hard As Your Technicians

A homeowner finds a mouse in the kitchen at 10 PM. They grab their phone, search “pest control near me,” and click through to your website. What happens in the next 15 seconds determines whether they call you or hit the back button and try the next company on the list.

If your site loads slowly, looks outdated, or makes it hard to find a phone number, you lost that customer. They didn't call your competitor because they were better at pest control. They called because they had a better website.

Cube Creative Design builds websites for pest control companies that are designed to do one thing: convert visitors into phone calls, form submissions, and booked inspections. We've been building pest control websites since 2005, and we know exactly what elements drive conversions in this industry. We've tested them across dozens of pest control company sites.

What Makes a Pest Control Website Work

A pretty website that doesn't generate leads is an expensive digital brochure. Every page on your site has one job: get a homeowner to call your office, submit a form, or book an inspection. Here's how we make that happen.

This is what we build into every pest control website:

Built for Conversions, Not Just Looks

Your Customer Has a Cockroach Problem at 11 PM. Can They Call You in One Tap?

More than 60% of pest control searches happen on mobile phones. When someone is panicking about a pest problem late at night, they need to reach you with one tap — not hunt for a phone number buried in your footer. We place click-to-call buttons in the header, throughout the page, and as a sticky element that follows the visitor as they scroll. No matter where they are on your site, your phone number is one thumb-tap away.

Short Forms That Actually Get Filled Out

Every field you add to a contact form reduces the number of people who complete it. We ask for only what you need to respond: name, phone, service address, and pest type. That's it. Forms are positioned at the points on each page where visitors are most ready to take action — not buried at the bottom where nobody scrolls.

One Click from Any Page to Any Service

If a homeowner searched for "termite inspection" and lands on your homepage, the path to your termite page needs to be obvious and immediate. Not two clicks. Not a dropdown menu they have to decode. One tap to termite treatment, rodent control, bed bugs, or whatever they need. If they have to think about where to go next, they're already gone.

Proof You're Legit — Before They Scroll

Your Google review rating, years in business, NPMA or state association membership, licensing information, and guarantee badges need to be visible the moment your page loads. These aren't decorations — they're the difference between "I'll call these guys" and "let me check one more company." Every second a visitor spends wondering if they can trust you is a second closer to losing them.

Pest Control Companies Case Studies

Built on an Open Platform You Own

Most pest control marketing companies won't tell you this: if your website is built on their proprietary platform, you don't really own it. Cancel your contract, and your site disappears.

Warning: Your content, your design, your URLs, your ranking history — all gone. Ask your current provider one question: "If I leave, do I keep my website?" If the answer isn't a clear yes, you have a problem.

We build on Joomla, an open-source content management system used by millions of websites worldwide. When we hand you a website, it's yours — completely. You can host it anywhere, modify it yourself, hire anyone else to work on it, or take it with you if you ever leave. No platform lock-in, no exit fees, no proprietary system holding your business hostage.

We also train your team to handle everyday updates — adding a blog post, changing a phone number, swapping a photo — and provide a knowledge base they can reference anytime. For anything beyond that, we're a phone call away.

What If You Already Have a Website That Is Not Working?

Most of our pest control clients come to us with an existing website. Sometimes it was built by a friend. Sometimes it was a template they set up themselves. Sometimes it was built by another agency years ago and has not been touched since.

We evaluate your current site honestly. If the foundation is solid, we can optimize and rebuild on top of it. If the platform, structure, or codebase is holding you back, we recommend starting fresh. Either way, you are not paying for work that does not need to happen.

The most common issues we see with existing pest control websites: slow load times, no mobile optimization, missing service pages, no geographic landing pages, no call tracking, and no clear conversion path. If any of those sound familiar, a conversation with us will tell you exactly what needs to change and what can stay.

Our Pest Control Web Design Process

Discovery and Planning (Week 1–2)

You'll walk us through your business — your services, your service areas, who your best customers are, and where you want to grow. We'll audit your existing website (if you have one) and your top local competitors so you can see exactly where you stand and where the opportunities are.

By the end of Week 2, you'll have a documented site plan in hand: page structure, keyword targets for each page, conversion elements, and design direction. No guesswork — a clear blueprint for what gets built and why.

Design and Development (Weeks 3–6)

Your site gets designed around your brand — your colors, your personality, your positioning. But every layout decision serves a purpose: where calls-to-action go, how service pages are structured, what appears above the fold on mobile. Design always serves function.

You'll see mockups before anything gets built and have the chance to give feedback and request revisions. Nothing goes to development until you've approved it. Once you do, we build with SEO best practices baked in from the start: proper heading structure, schema markup, fast load times, and clean code.

Content Population (Weeks 5–7)

Your site is only as good as the words on it. We write every page — homepage, about, service pages, and geographic landing pages — with your target keywords and your customer's mindset at the center. Every page answers the questions your potential customers are actually asking and gives them a clear reason to contact you.

If you have existing content worth keeping, we migrate and optimize it. If you're starting fresh, we build your content library from scratch. Either way, you're not writing anything — that's on us.

Launch and Optimization (Week 8)

Your site goes live with everything buttoned up: redirects from old URLs, Google Search Console verification, analytics setup, and conversion tracking. You won't have to touch any of this.

After launch, we monitor how real visitors use your site — heat maps, session recordings, and conversion data — and make adjustments based on what the numbers tell us. Your site gets smarter over time, not just older.

Plans and Pricing

Compare to the cost of acquiring one new long-term customer

One-year initial term, then month-to-month.

You own everything we build, no platform lock-in, no exit fees.

Your average pest control customer is worth $1,200–$3,600 over their lifetime. Our clients typically generate 30–50+ new leads per month from their website within the first year. You don't need many of those to convert before the investment pays for itself several times over.

Every package includes your website — design, development, hosting, and maintenance — because we don't separate the website from the strategy that makes it work. The right plan depends on your market, your service areas, and how fast you want to grow.

What Our Clients Have To Say...

Your Website Should Generate Leads, Not Just Exist

If your current website isn't producing the phone calls and form submissions your business needs, it's not a marketing asset. It's a liability. Let's build one that works as hard as your technicians do.

Your competitors are showing up where your customers are searching. Let's fix that.

Tell us about your business and goals — we'll follow up with a custom growth assessment. No contracts, no pressure, just a honest look at where you stand and what's possible.
