That being said, website accessibility is critical to today’s web design and development. Not only does it ensure that your website is inclusive and usable for people with disabilities, but it can also positively impact your search engine optimization (SEO) efforts.
Disabilities come in all shapes and sizes and are part of being human. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 1 out of every 6 people worldwide has a significant disability. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says that 1 in every 4 adults in the US has some disability. It is also highest in the south.
