There are numerous questions to consider while developing a marketing plan for your business. What will catch my clients' interest the most? Should I hire a digital marketing agency to do it for me? Should I spend money on advertisements, and if so, what kind? Should I put effort into developing content instead? While there are numerous factors to consider, one thing is for sure. Content is the ideal marketing tool for any small business, especially yours.

Content marketing can be one if not the most cost-effective form of marketing as it allows you to build genuine relationships with your clients. As a new business, creating your brand and building a client base are critical to your success. Let's look at how content could be the missing piece of the puzzle that allows you to accomplish all of this!

Are you new to social media marketing? If yes, then you must have questions about it. At Cube Creative, we usually get these questions:

  • What is effective social media marketing for small business?
  • How can I use social media to grow my business, build brand awareness, start building relationships, etc.?
  • What are the best social media marketing strategies for a small business or startup?

Perhaps, the best tip to tell all online marketers is this: Start by setting the right goal.

But what is the right goal for using social media for business?

In social media marketing, the right goal is to:

  • Build influence and authority
  • Promote brand awareness

When your audience is already aware of your brand and trusts you, that is the time you can lead them further into your sales funnel.

On average, it takes businesses six months to generate results from social media marketing, but HubSpot, a leading CRM developer, says, “It depends.”

According to HubSpot experts, businesses need to develop an effective social media marketing strategy to generate results faster and take advantage of ways to track social media results.

Word-of-mouth has long been a driving factor behind advertising. It is a sure-fire way to boost revenue and leads or traffic to your door. When it comes to marketing Asheville, small businesses frequently don’t have the same resources as major enterprises. Hence, having a massive budget for marketing is out of the question. Despite this, there are ways for such small businesses to promote their goods or services to their target audiences.

When it comes to running a small service-based business, it can be challenging to stand out from all the other competitors in the market. According to the U.S. Small Business Administration  (SBA), in 2019 they reported that there were 30.7 million small businesses accounting for 99.9 percent of all U.S. businesses.

Now the SBA defines a small business as a firm with fewer than 500 employees. However, if we further refine that definition to fewer than 20 employees, then it makes up 89% of all businesses in the U.S. (Source: Oberlo.com)

If your business falls within the latter statistic, you know that spending your hard-earned money on ads and marketing when times get tight is usually one of the first things you want to cut. However, I am here to tell you that is the last thing you want to do.

While traditional advertising methods can be very costly and nearly impossible to measure, small businesses have never had easier access to low-cost, measurable marketing tools. The best way to market your business may be much more accessible than you think if you look to the techniques outlined here.
